wedNESDAY SCENE STUDY
Designed for adult actors with some experience who want to become more present, responsive, and connected in their work. Through acting exercises, improvisation, text analysis, cold reads, and practical scene work, actors will develop the ability to truly listen, trust their impulses, make strong choices, and respond authentically in the moment. Short scenes from plays, film, and television will give actors the opportunity to put these skills into practice, exploring how the principles of presence, spontaneity, listening, and truthful connection translate to scripted material. The emphasis is on creating truthful, spontaneous performances while developing practical skills actors can use in both rehearsal and audition settings.

THURSDAY ACTOR'S GYM
Designed for experienced actors ready to break out of habitual choices and take their work to a deeper, more spontaneous level. This class challenges actors to stop anticipating, let go of the need to control the outcome, and become fully available to what is happening in the moment. Through advanced exercises and scene work, actors will sharpen their listening, deepen their connection to their scene partners, explore subtext and shifting circumstances, and develop the freedom to make bold, instinctive choices. Cold reads, short scenes from plays, along with film and television scripts, will provide opportunities to apply these skills practically. The goal is not to plan a performance, but to create a truthful, unpredictable experience that unfolds in real time. Admission is by AUDITION only. This class is for the serious actor - curious, brave, and dedicated - who is ready to do the work and grow.
