Every child has a voice. Children find strength and gifts through performance. We embrace uniqueness and individuality in each student, and encourage them to value it in themselves as well as in others. We warm up each class with tongue twisters and physical stretching to get the body warm and open to expression, and close each class with positive quotes and inspiring words. We desire to build character and empathy through the arts. We will explore mask work, storytelling through movement, trust work, sense memory, etc. Throughout the semester, we rehearse monologues and scenes, and then do a final performance for invited guests on the final class.
